Keeping the date and time synced on your computer is necessary so that polling goes through, and so that other windows processes function correctly. Follow the instructions below for the operating system you are using.

Windows 7
- Click on the Windows Start button, it’s located on the bottom left corner of the screen
- Type “date and time” in the Start menu
- Click on Date and Time
- On the top of the Date and Time program you’ll see three tabs that can be clicked on. Click on Internet Time
- Click on Change settings…
- Then click on Update now
Windows 10
- Click on the Windows Start button, it’s located on the bottom left corner of the screen. There’s also a Search button that looks like an hourglass that you can click on
- Type “date and time” in the Start/Search menu
- Click on Date and time settings
- Make sure that Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically are on
- Then click on the Sync now button
Windows 11
- Press the Windows button + i at the same time on your keyboard to get to the settings menu
- Click on Time and language from the left panel
- Click on Date and time from the right panel
- Scroll down to the Additional settings section
- Click on Sync now
