Are your Honeywell scanners not scanning?
Try reprograming them!
-First make sure that the scanner is connected to the surface pro securely. The scanner may be connected directly into the surface pro or into a port on the dock.
-After checking that the scanner is physically connected to the register, we want to check that the computer is recognizing the scanner.
Navigate to setting on the surface pro and select Bluetooth and other devices. You should see the Honeywell scanner as well as the keyboard and mouse in the list of devices.
-Below are the reprograming barcodes for this specific scanner. Only scan the Enabled Factory Default then the Recall Defaults barcode. Ignore all the other barcodes on that page. Do not scan the screen. Print this page and scan the physical paper. The scanner should function properly after scanning the reprograming barcodes.
If it does not work on the first try restart you computer, check the hardware, and if the register is recognizing the scanner as stated above and try again.
