The purpose of this article is to detail how to connect the store's iPhone to the Wifi network for taking Partial Inventory in Lightspeed. Images of the icon, or the next step in the process are shown below the instruction.
1. Unlock the iPhone by pressing the circular button at the bottom of the device.
2. From the Home screen, select the Settings application.
3. In Settings, select Wi-Fi.
4. Under Networks, select your store's Wi-Fi network. If there are no available networks listed, please check that Wi-Fi is turned on by tapping the button to the right. When enabled, the button should be green and will show the available networks below.
5. Enter Wi-Fi password, then select Join on the keypad, or in the top right corner of the window.
6. The iPhone should then connect to the Wi-Fi. When the device has connected a blue check mark will appear to the left of the networks name and a Wi-Fi symbol will appear in the top left corner of the screen.
If you see 'SOS only' in the top right corner of the screen, you can ignore that as it is referring to the cellular connection and not the Wi-Fi connection.
To test the network connection, Open the Lightspeed Scanner app and login to your account. If you are able to login successfully the device is connected to the internet.
