Ingenico link 2500 credit card machines are used for Lightspeed events to process credit cards.
The device comes with a power brick and a usb-C charging cable. This device uses a wifi connection And can take chip, tap, and mag swipe payments. It also will run on an internal battery for events without power.
Controls
Power On- To turn on the device press the Green O button
Shut Down- Hold the # button and the Yellow < button (If you power off the device with the power plugged in it will reboot not shut down)
Admin Settings- Press 0001 on the keypad to open the admin device settings
Navigating the Menus- Use the F2 and F3 arrow key to move through the menus
Select a Menu Item- Either press the number listed next to it or Highlight it and press the green O button
Back out of Menus- Press the yellow < button to back out of menus and to the main screen.

How to Connect to WIFI
Power on the device by pressing the green O button.
Open the settings by typing 0001 in to the pin pad.
Use the F2 and F3 arrow keys to highlight WIFI Parameters and press the green button
Highlight option 2 scan networks and press the green button
Select the network SSID that you want to connect to by pressing the green button
Enter the password and press the green button a screen will appear saying new profile OK click the green button to continue.
*If you are connecting to the event hot spot for the first time* In the WIFI parameters menu select my networks. Highlight the hotspot network and press the green button. Select Default Use/Force Use and press the green button. A screen will appear that says OK and hit the green button
Press the yellow button to back out of the menus. You should see a wifi symbol in the top left corner. If its green its connected if it's white it's not connected.
Once the device is connected to wifi, power it off by pressing the # key and the yellow < key (If you power off the device with the power plugged in it will reboot not shut down)
Power it back on by pressing the green O key let it fully reboot till you get the activation code on the device.
If you haven't received the code check the network connection or check to see if it's currently paired to a register in Lightspeed. If it is paired to a register in lightspeed remove the pairing in the payment types. Reboot the credit card machine till the activation code appears.
