My barcode scanner is not scanning barcodes

If your scanning gun still is unable to scan bar codes, disconnect the device and restart the register computer. As the register begins to boot up again, reconnect the scan gun to the register. This should reinstall any required drivers, and the register scanner should start working.

If it still is now working, it may need to be reprogrammed.

1. Print out this document. 
2. Hold the button on the scanner then start at the top and scan each bar code.
3. The top code will beep 3 times. Then, the middle ones will beep once each. Finally, the last code will beep 3 times to close the program.
4. Now your scanning gun is reprogrammed and should start working.
